In order to ensure objectivity and validity of the decision-making process during accreditation of educational institutions (institutional or programme accreditation), the IQAA established a special Appeals Committee consisting of 5 persons.
The Appeals Committee considers appeals from educational institutions against the decision on the institutional or specialized (programme) accreditation, which was made by the Accreditation Council. The decision on the appeal is taken in accordance with
the Regulations on the Appeals Commission and the Procedure of Appeal.
The Appeals Committee considers appeals from educational institutions submitted in a written form on the official headed paper of the institution signed by its head, directed to the President of IQAA and sent to the address: 010000, Nur-Sultan, 20 Dostyk
street, Office 801. These appeals are registered in the Incoming Information Register and are handed to the Chairman of the Appeals Committee. Oral applications cannot be accepted.
If the appeal contains the issues falling within the procedure of considering complaints, the Appeals Committee sends these issues for the consideration of the Complaints Commission.
The Appeals Committee carefully considers all cases of submitted appeals and takes timely decisions.
