The standards of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (hereinafter - NAOKO) are developed on the basis of European standards and guidelines, standards and criteria of American regional agencies [6]. These standards of institutional accreditation cover all aspects of the educational organization and include the following areas:

1) Mission, strategic planning and quality assurance policies;

2) Management and information management;

3) Students, student-centered teaching, teaching and performance assessment;

4) Admission of students, learning outcomes, recognition and qualifications;

5) Educational programs: their development, effectiveness, continuous monitoring and periodic evaluation;

6) The pedagogical composition and effectiveness of teaching;

7) Scientific and methodological work (creative activity);

8) Resources and student support services;

9) Public awareness;

10) Periodic external quality assurance and subsequent procedures.

Standards for Institutional Accreditation of TVET organizations (2017)

Accreditation standards for educational programs of technical and vocational education are developed in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", "On Technical Regulation", international practice on accreditation of educational programs, as well as with modern trends in the development of education.

Accreditation standards for educational programs of technical and vocational education are based on universally recognized key concepts: the responsibility of educational institutions for providing quality education, taking into account and protecting the interests of society, interested parties and, primarily, students in obtaining quality educational services, and the conformity of technical and vocational education programs with social and professional competencies, meeting the educational needs of the individual and society in getting a profession.
