Accreditation standards for educational programs of technical and vocational education are developed in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", "On Technical Regulation", international practice on accreditation of educational programs, as well as with modern trends in the development of education.

Accreditation standards for educational programs of technical and vocational education are based on universally recognized key concepts: the responsibility of educational institutions for providing quality education, taking into account and protecting the interests of society, interested parties and, primarily, students in obtaining quality educational services, and the conformity of technical and vocational education programs with social and professional competencies, meeting the educational needs of the individual and society in getting a profession.
