The expert group for external reviw, as a rule, consists of 6-10 experts representing different stakeholders and possessing necessary competences and knowledge to conduct an objective and effective assessment of the quality of services provided by educational institutions. The composition of the expert group includes experts from the academic community, students, employers and international experts.
All external review experts must sign the Code of Honor prior to the beginning of the external audit, which ensures their responsible and impartial attitude towards the performance of their functions. The Code of Honor of external experts regulates that members of the expert group are independent in the exercise of their powers, do not represent the interests of the organization in which they work / study, and do not allow interference in their activities and lobbying for interests of certain individuals.
Academic experts are involved in two types of activities:
- To conduct the analysis of self-assessment reports written by representatives of educational organizations in regards to subsequent reviews of HEIs/study programmes;
- To take part in external reviews of HEIs/study programmes.
