Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education – Ranking (IQAA-Ranking) is the fifth annual national ranking of technical and vocational education organizations, which we have held annually since 2015.
According to the methodology, the national ranking is multidimensional and it evaluates the main six indicators of the colleges: the contingent of students (15%), the results of training of students and the number of educational programs implemented in the College (20%), the quality of engineering and teaching staff (20%), the quality of the College (15%), cooperation with enterprises (15%) and information support (15%), in brackets is the distribution of weight percent to each indicator. According to the methodology, the ranking takes into account the profile of training colleges, so the ranking of colleges is carried out in 6 areas: multidisciplinary, technical, humanitarian and economic, agricultural and technical, pedagogical and medical colleges.

It is important to point out the active participation of medical colleges in the ranking of 2019: from 37 colleges admitted to participation – 11 colleges are of medical direction (last year there were 8 medical colleges). Meanwhile, the best medical colleges have shown quite high results due to the results obtained by the following indicators: the results of training of students and the number of educational programs, the quality of engineering and teaching staff and the quality of the College.
The National ranking of colleges - 2019 is designed and presented for parents and applicants, so that they can choose their College, for the heads of VET organizations, who can conduct a comparative analysis of their work, as well as for all stakeholders to make decisions.
The ranking results are published in the newspaper «Казахстанская правда» (June 27, 2019 № 121).
